Facilities & Accommodation

TierraMítica is currently under construction, planning to start its operation August- September 2012.

Most accommodation will be in 2-4 person jungle bungalows with thatched roofs and private bathrooms, situated in the jungle with beautiful views of the gorge and the surrounding mountains. Bungalows will be accessible through beautiful pathways and will offer quiet and privacy. Accommodation will also be offered in dormitories for those either on a tight budget or participants of the work exchange programs. Accommodation is constructed with high quality local traditional techniques and materials but also modern hygienic facilities.

All accommodation will be protected by insect nets and will offer patios with hammocks and lounge chairs for relaxation.

Facilities will include a salon, dining room and meeting area, a 15 meter diameter traditional moloca for ceremonies and musical events, a swimming pool, a spa area for massage and treatments, yoga hall, library and lounge room, meditation halls, meditation gardens and a labyrinth, zen garden, water cleansing temple, fire pit area, access to internet (for those not in a program or workshop), lookout points, arts atelier with art therapy sessions and creative instruction and a gym.
